Kochi, Kerala – October 2025:
Edwhere Learning, an EC-Council–accredited and ISO 9001 certified institute based in Kochi, Kerala, has once again demonstrated its commitment to inclusive and transformative education through the launch of a free “Basics in Python Programming” course for young individuals affected by HIV/AIDS in Kerala.
The program, initiated in collaboration with Vincentian Social Services and PhogerEdwhere Learning LLP, is implemented in partnership with the Kerala State AIDS Control Society (KSACS) and district-level networks KTDNP+ (Kottayam) and TDNP+ (Thiruvananthapuram).
This initiative is designed to empower 30 young participants from marginalized backgrounds, equipping them with essential digital skills that open pathways to careers in the fast-growing technology and cybersecurity sectors. Beyond technical training, the course aims to inspire confidence, foster inclusion, and build a sense of purpose among youth who often face social and economic challenges.

Empowering Through Education
The free Python Programming course underscores Edwhere Learning’s mission to make quality education accessible to all, especially from its hub in Kochi, Kerala. Participants are introduced to the fundamentals of programming through an interactive and beginner-friendly curriculum, carefully crafted to align with industry standards while remaining approachable to learners with limited prior exposure to technology.
The course blends periodic assessments, interactive learning sessions, and one-on-one mentoring, ensuring that each student receives personalized guidance and feedback. More than a technical workshop, the program represents a holistic educational experience that promotes problem-solving, analytical thinking, and self-confidence — key competencies for success in today’s digital economy.
Speaking about the initiative, Manu Francis, Founder of Edwhere Learning, remarked:
“Our goal is to bridge the digital divide and ensure that no one is left behind in the journey toward a more equitable future. Through this program, we are not just teaching Python — we are unlocking opportunities for young minds to thrive in technology-driven industries.”
A Shared Commitment to Inclusivity
The collaboration between Vincentian Social Services, KSACS, and Edwhere Learning highlights the power of partnerships in driving social impact. By combining expertise in education, social work, and public health, the initiative addresses both skill development and social empowerment for communities that are often underserved.
Vincentian Social Services has been instrumental in identifying and supporting the participants, while KSACS continues to champion programs that foster inclusion and economic empowerment for people affected by HIV/AIDS. Together, these organizations have created a sustainable model for education-driven social change, with a vision to replicate similar programs across Kerala, starting from Kochi.
Edwhere Learning: Shaping the Future of Cybersecurity and Technology Education
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Kochi, Kerala, Edwhere Learning (Edwhere Education) began with a vision to revolutionize the Indian education landscape by delivering high-quality, accessible, and industry-relevant learning experiences.
Over just six years, the institution has grown to partner with 20+ collaborating institutions, offer 30+ professional courses, and train over 35,000 students across India.
The institute’s success stems from its learner-centric approach and its use of US Government NIST standards–based curriculum for cybersecurity training. Edwhere is one of the few institutions in India providing affordable self-paced and live training in Malayalam, available both online and offline.
Edwhere has collaborated with renowned organizations such as Labour India Magazine, Kerala Police Cyberdome, Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, and the Adi Sankara Technological Business Incubator, building a strong reputation as a trusted education partner in Kerala.
Transforming Lives Through Knowledge
With the launch of the Python Programming initiative in Kochi, Edwhere Learning has reaffirmed its mission to use education as a tool for social transformation. For the young participants, the program represents not only an entry point into the digital world but also a pathway toward self-reliance and dignity.
A representative from Vincentian Social Services shared:
“This initiative is a testament to our belief that technology and education together can change lives. By equipping these youth with digital skills, we are enabling them to envision new futures — ones defined by possibility rather than limitation.”
As the course progresses, participants continue to show remarkable enthusiasm and engagement. The hands-on training sessions have already sparked interest in further studies and potential careers in programming, data science, and cybersecurity.
A Vision for the Future
Edwhere Learning’s commitment to inclusive, high-quality education extends beyond this project. With a growing network of institutional collaborations and a dedication to promoting digital literacy across Kerala, the organization plans to expand similar initiatives to different regions and learner groups.
By combining innovation, accessibility, and compassion, Edwhere Learning is not only preparing students for the workforce but also nurturing a generation of confident, skilled, and socially responsible digital citizens.
